“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
(Mathew 25:31-46, The Parable of the Sheep and the Goats)

Before we moved down here people were always saying that Arizona had no bugs! Well maybe there aren't as many bugs as back home in Illinois- but I think Arizona makes up for it in SIZE!
I went to clean out the filter in the pool this morning and this is what I found! YUCK YUCK!!!!
Sy got this dog back on Valentine's Day and he never really cared for until now. The dog moves it ears back and forth and repeats "Give me a hug, give me a hug" while music is playing. Sy was normally scared of it-but now it is one of his favorite toys. He just sits and hugs over and over- throws it down and then goes to tackle it and hug it some more! So thanks G. Grandma Miller for giving Sy his doggy!
(Also notice Sy's first facial cut from walking. He wiped out walking down the hallway and scratched his face with his hand! Poor Sy!)
However...there is a down side. Roads in Arizona are not made for rain- they will literally flood within minutes, and people DO NOT know how to drive in the rain here. It is so funny watching people grasping their steering wheels and holding on for dear life!!
Well, it looks like another storm is rolling in right now!! I love it!!
OK- So here we go. I am very new to this whole "blogging" thing- but I'll give it a shot!
I know some people may be wondering what I was thinking when I named this blog The Sheep and the Goats- but it makes perfect sense to me. It is one of my favorite passages in the Bible and is something I try to live my life by everyday. So now every time I get on here to write something- I see that title and I'm inspired. It's great!!
Below the verses is a video of one of my favorite Christian song writer/singer of all time. I get goosebumps when I hear him sing all his songs, but especially this one. He basically is just reading through this passage- but it's so awesome the way he does it. So if you have a few minutes- it is definitely worth the time to watch it!!
Mathew 25: 31-46
The Sheep and the Goats
31"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
