Illinois Bound!

Well Everyone- Tomorrow afternoon we will begin the 24 hour journey back to Illinois! Oh yes- it is going to be great fun. Brad, Me, our friend Eric, Josiah and our two dogs- all in the mini-van! The plan is to leave around 1:00pm (the key word here is plan :) then it's about a 24 hour drive without all the stops we are going to have to make on a count of Josiah and the dogs! So don't be hurt if you do not receive a call from us until Saturday after we sleep in!! We can't wait to see everyone!! Keep us in your prayers as we make the journey across the country!!

Dog Treats!

Sy loves to give Chevy and Sanka treats- we usually let him give them each one when we put them in for the night. However- Brad let them in and then left the treats right where Sy could get them. I just happen hear the dogs chewing something and looked around the corner and this is what I saw!

Well today the guys decided to play football outside and Josiah was right behind them- any chance Sy can get outside- he will!

My Poor Skinny Boy!!!

My poor little guy is so skinny- not a inch of fat on him anywhere! He eats like a horse but he burns off everything he eats! I thought I should get a picture of him shirtless (all ribs showing) and the shorts he's wearing are 6-9 months (and they still have to be rolled!)

More Christmas Lights!!

Here is another one of the many great lighted houses in our neighborhood! This house is probably he best/most decorated house and it can been seen form far away. You can't really see it in the movie but there is a huge triangular tower that shines for the whole neighborhood to see- I never have to worry about missing my street- the light guides the way!! Another interesting thing this family does is show movies on there garage door- I don't know which nights exactly- but they've done it both nights I drove by this weekend. You can hear the movie in the video too! Oh- they also serve pop corn and drinks!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well I cooked for a day and a half- and it took about 30 minutes for it to all be over! Now I just have to find enough room in the fridge for all the leftovers! We had a total of 4 adults plus Sy and enough food for at least 8 or more people! I won't have to cook all weekend now! We have enough leftover dressing to fry up on the stove for a week (whith the Zobrist family- you have to fight for even a couple days worth!!) We hope everyone had a great day! We all have a lot to be Thankful for!

Sy's Toolbox

Sy Loves his toolbox that Great Grandma and Grandpa Miller got him for his birthday. Some days he just sits there and hammers in the shapes over and over- this was one of those days!

Christmas...Already???

I was leaving the house tonight to go meet Brad and get some dinner- and as I walked outside I noticed a glowing in the sky....you've got to be kidding me....the notorious neighborhood Christmas lights were shinning from down the street!! We have quite a few neighbors who go ALL OUT with the Christmas lights- so there will be plenty more videos and pictures of them on my blog, but I wasn't expecting lights up this early!! Let the festivities begin!!

Morton In The Fall!

Were back in Morton...well at least for a couple weeks. I'm convinced that Sy would stay outside all day if we would let him. He loves to go outside and just walk around and picking up whatever he can find on the ground. I miss the Fall so much- it's to bad Arizona has no seasons :(

We went to a park by our house a couple days before we left for Illinois. I figured we needed to be out in the warm weather before we headed back to the cold!!

I'm Way Behind!

My parents were out here over a week ago and I am just now putting up some pictures. I have gotten so lazy when it comes to updating anything! We had so much fun when they were here- went to zoo, swam, and went to this authentic ghost town and steakhouse called Rawhide. So here we go with the pictures!

Hello Everyone! We're still alive here- but I've been so busy with our new webpage/store and with the I "Pumpkin" Morton shirts. We sold quite a few shirts and still have more to make this week. Finally! The storm I've been waiting for!!!

We had a HUGE monsoon storm come through tonight. We're actually on our 4th round of storms hitting us as I am writing this. It just keeps coming- and is suppose to for the next couple days! I have to enjoy it while it lasts because after monsoon season is over- I might not see rain for months at a time! Here is a video of the lightning that has been going on all night. It's like a huge strobe light outside...CRAZY! By far- the best storm I've seen since we've lived here!

Mommy's Little Monster

Oh Josiah....What can I say about him today. He just might be the most active child I have ever seen. Literally- I look away for one second and he is either climbing up something, walking of the couch, sneaking into the dog's kennels, and the list goes on. But then all it takes is one of his smiles and a look from those big brown eyes and I forget about how crazy he was minutes before!

Uncle Zach got this for Josiah for his first birthday!! He loves it!!! If only he would learn how to steer and look where he's going!!!

Playtime!

Here are just a couple pics from this weekend so far. We made a little house out his car seat box- and he loves it. Forget toys-just give him a box and he's happy.
